Background of establishment
Marianne and Margreth Institute of Training and Refreshment in Sorok Island
It was established as an education and training facility to honor the dedication and service spirit of Austrian nurses Marianne and Margaret, who left Sorokdo after 43 years of volunteering, and to create a society of hope through respect, consideration, and sharing, and is jointly operated by Goheung-gun and Marianne and Margaret Association.
