[Signing of Memorandum of Understanding with Dongshin University]
The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Dongshin University, Goheung County, and the Marianne & Margaret Foundation was held at the main auditorium of the training center.
From Dongshin University, President Lee Joo-hee and related personnel attended, and from Goheung County, County Governor Gong Young-min, Director of Resident Welfare Ryu Na-young, along with public officials from relevant departments, were present.
From our foundation, Honorary Chairman Father Kim Yeon-jun, Executive Director Kang In-hye, and many board members attended.
Dongshin University emphasized the importance of character education for students and pledged to actively utilize the dedicated volunteer service examples of Marianne and Margaret for Hansen's disease patients in Sorokdo in their education through various opportunities in the future.
Additionally, after the signing ceremony, they visited the M residence in Sorokdo where Marianne and Margaret lived, providing a valuable opportunity to learn about the volunteer spirit of the two nurses who lived a humble yet dedicated life.
