Marianne & Margaret

66 parents and elementary school students from Gwangju Metropolitan City visited the Marianne and Margaret Sharing Training Center.

Director Kang In-jung conducted a two-hour program including a movie screening, lecture, and the Challenge Golden Bell program under the theme of 'The Angels of Sorokdo, Marianne and Margaret.'

The program expanded their understanding of how difficult the lives of Hansen's disease patients were on Sorokdo and why the spirit of service of Marianne and Margaret should be remembered. They also received the book 'Marianne and Margaret of Sorokdo' (author Seong Ki-young), which covers the lives of the two nurses, as a gift.
