To participate in the second session of the 2025 Mama Healing Stay, 79 sponsoring members from across the country gathered for a 2-night, 3-day schedule.
On the first day, we began with a story from the director about the foundation, followed by a time to greet sponsoring members who had not met in a while, and spent time with Father Kim Yeon-jun from Naju.
On the second day, we went on an outing to Namyeol Beach in Yeongnam-myeon to see the beautiful scenery and sea of Goheung. As soon as they saw the open beach, the sponsoring members exclaimed in awe,
and they enjoyed walking along the beach, with water up to their knees. Under the pine trees at the beach, they gathered to eat bibimbap, coffee, and fruit, which were personally made and delivered by the training center staff, while having various conversations.
Then, we moved to the Goheung Buncheong Culture Museum in Undae-ri, Duwon-myeon, to appreciate Buncheong ware, one of Korea's three major ceramics.
Through the guide's kind explanation, we had a very informative time observing the history and relics of Goheung, studying the Undae-ri kiln site, which is the largest concentration of Buncheong ware in Korea, and the excavation achievements so far.
In the evening, we went up to the rooftop of the training center to watch a drone show of about 100 drones held every week at Nokdong Port, and concluded the schedule.
On the third day, we enjoyed delicious sandwiches at the Madeleine Cafe on the third floor of the memorial hall while listening to stories about the ever-developing foundation and training center, and expressed gratitude for the countless jewel-like achievements made possible through sponsorship, bidding a regretful farewell.
We sincerely thank the sponsoring members who practice service and sharing with warm hearts and love.
