[2025. 09. 27] Mokpo Catholic University Nursing Department 2nd Year Professional Nurse Self-Discovery Program 2025-09-27
On September 27-28, the Sharing Training Center conducted a professional nursing self-discovery program for 85 second-year students from the Department of Nursing at Mokpo Catholic University. Mokpo Catholic University operates a Department of Nursing for the training of professional nurses and is an excellent educational institution that has obtained a 5-year nursing education accreditation from June 2025 to June 2030. Catholic University has been conducting education with our training center for three years this year, providing character education through a special lecture by Father Kim Yeon-jun on the theme of . Additionally, through the viewing of the documentary Marianne and Margaret and a lecture by Director Kang In-jung of the Sharing Training Center on , students had time to commit to their vocation as nurses. On the second day, we conducted . Together with a cultural tourism interpreter, we explored Sorokdo, learned about its history, and reflected on the hope of Marianne and Margaret. We then moved to Geogeumdo, trekking across the Geogeum Bridge, which connects Geogeum-myeon, Geogeumdo, and Doyang-eup, Sorokdo, with a total length of 2,028 meters, enjoying the refreshing sea breeze to conclude the schedule. In particular, students greatly enjoyed using the Madeleine Café on the 3rd floor of the memorial hall, which offers a view of the open sea during breaks between lectures. The café's signature Yuzu Cream Tea was especially popular, contributing significantly to the students' self-promotion efforts and encouraging revisits.
