Marianne & Margaret

On January 9th, professors and students from the Department of Nursing at Dongshin University visited the Marianne and Margaret Sharing Training Center. By watching a documentary about the lives of the two women who quietly practiced sharing and service on Sorok Island, the atmosphere was soon filled with solemn emotion and tears. In particular, through the stories contained in the old bread molds and milk powder cans, which were selected as preliminary cultural heritage, it was a precious time to deeply engrave the unconditional love and dedication of the senior nurses who were ahead of their time. Moving to the cafe, they enjoyed a delightful time tasting the yuzu Gugelhupf cake and cream yuzu tea that Marianne and Margaret used to bake on their birthdays, and cherished the precious memories from the training center. They then headed to Sorok Island. We deeply thank Department Head Kim Sumi, the various professors, and all the students for visiting the Sharing Training Center.
