The students of Nokdong High School in Goheung donated 105 blood donation certificates to the hospital at the Marianne and Margaret Memorial Hall in Goheung on January 6. Regarding this blood donation certificate presentation ceremony, the Marianne & Margaret Foundation conveyed the students' intention to donate to the hospital's social welfare team, stating that the students wish to practice sharing in the spirit of Marianne and Margaret's love by donating blood certificates for neighbors in need as part of a program. The presentation ceremony was attended by the faculty and the student council president of Nokdong High School, and Father Kim Yeon-jun Francis of the Catholic Archdiocese of Gwangju from the Marianne & Margaret Foundation. The Marianne & Margaret Foundation is a support group that remembers the love of the two nurses, Marianne and Margaret, who lived as volunteers for Hansen's patients on Sorokdo for over 40 years and returned to their homeland leaving only a letter, with the purpose of sharing the love we received with our neighbors.
