Jeollanam-do is designating honorary artists in fields such as literature, art, and theater for senior artists aged 70 and above who have dedicated themselves to artistic activities for over 30 years as residents of the province, achieving outstanding artistic accomplishments and contributing to society, thereby enhancing the reputation of "Artistic Jeonnam." In 2023, as an "Honorary Artist," Mr. Jungdang (中堂) Shin Soo-il, who wrote the signboard for our Nanum Training Center and corporation, has been designated. Congratulations sincerely. Mr. Jungdang (中堂) Shin Soo-il is volunteering by teaching calligraphy to Sorokdo residents interested in the art. Today, he visited the Nanum Training Center with them. The event included an introduction to the Marianne and Margaret Memorial Hall by Executive Director Kang In-hye, along with old stories shared with those who remember the two individuals.
