Marianne & Margaret

We are accepting nominations for the "4th Marianne & Margaret Service Award" to honor and continue the noble spirit of service and dedication exemplified by nurses Marianne Stöger and Margaret Pissarek, who devoted over 40 years of service in Sorokdo, Goheung.

■ Nomination Criteria ■

“Individuals residing domestically or internationally who have inherited the noble spirit of Marianne and Margaret and have dedicated themselves to serving the nation or local communities.”

a. Service Category: Individuals who lead voluntary service with pure love for neighbors rather than economic or material assistance.
b. Nursing Category: Recommendations received through the internal contest of the Korean Nurses Association.
※ Recommendation Criteria: Individuals who embody the spirit of nursing through good deeds and volunteer activities.

■ Eligibility for Nominators ■

a. Special City Mayors, Metropolitan City Mayors, Provincial Governors, Superintendents of Education of Special Cities, Metropolitan Cities, and Provinces
b. Mayors, County Governors, District Heads
c. Heads of central or city/province and city/county/district-level social organizations
d. 20 or more individuals aged 20 or older residing domestically or internationally with Korean nationality

d. Prize Money: Total 35 million KRW (20 million KRW for Presidential, 15 million KRW for Prime Minister's)
