Marianne & Margaret

In 2024, supporters from all over the country gathered for a 2-night, 3-day schedule to participate in the 5th Mama Healing Stay. On the

first day, we listened to Director Kang In-jung's story about the foundation and enjoyed the night view of Nokdong from the memorial

park.

On the second day, we had a very meaningful time reflecting on the hardships of Hansen's disease patients and the history of Sorokdo by

visiting the Central Park and the National Sorokdo Hospital Hansen's Disease Museum during the Sorokdo historical and cultural tour.

We moved to Central Park and gathered our hearts in prayer in front of the brick factory site, Jesus, and the Virgin Mary cave,

remembering the 1st anniversary of the late Grandma Margaret's memorial.

We also visited the Nanum Training Center Memorial Hall to reflect on the noble lives and spirit of service of nurses Marianne and

Margaret.

In the afternoon, we spent time with Father Kim Yeon-jun. On the third day, we enjoyed the scenery of Geogeumdo Island and walked over

the Geogeum Bridge.
